Good morning. Good morning. I am so happy, Reverend Amy. Thank you for the invitation once again, Reverend Linda, thank you, all of my friends, family at Cityside. I am happy to be back, especially my little dog friend whose name I keep forgetting. What’s his name? Piper. Yes. Piper. Um, this morning we’re gonna do a couple of things. This is, if I can get to the right page, where is the right page here? Bear with me one second. I will find Naomi and Ruth because they’re in here and I want to read it to you.

Here it is. It’s Ruth and Naomi Goldsmith doesn’t allow you to preach goldsmith mandates that you teach. And I have been so blessed in preparing for our gathering this morning. You don’t know, I’m in the midst of having house renovated cabinets now, not in 20 people doing my house in, in another few days. Uh, so Goldsmith said, girlfriend, come on. Don’t even sweat it. Don’t even worry about it. So, I am grateful. I am grateful. So I hope that you gain a little bit out of what comes through me, because what I’m gonna do is to tell you what I’m gonna say, then say what I got to say, and then at the end tell you what I said. Okay? Okay. So this is in Goldsmith’s spiritual interpretation of scripture that I’m gonna read a couple pages from. And it’s Ruth and Naomi. And for those of you who know Ruth and Naomi, from a biblical way, you’ll easily get it. For those of you who don’t, you’ll just hear it as a story. And as I go into what I’m gonna say, it’ll make a little more sense.

Naomi is the individual soul. According to Goldsmith. When it has failed to realize its oneness with God, it is seeking good in the material realm. Naomi may be the state of your being. When not rising to the spiritual consciousness in which you live, move and have your being, you start out to seek your good through material means. And human beings, where is that contractor? I mean, uh, human beings, your soul is God. But when this sense of separation from good arises in you, and you start looking for good in the outer realm in things, in persons, that is when you are the na in the Naomi state of consciousness. And when and when thus seeking, you are seeking it. In Moab, the metaphysical interpretation of Moab is sense consciousness or material sense. You think you can get it through your five senses or through your intellect or through your ego.

Well, Ruth, of course, represents the beautiful the thought, which loves the one good spirituality. You have forgotten that all that the Father half is th that you need not seek or labor for your good, that you do not even have to earn Hmm. Or deserve it. You need only realize, I am my father are one say that I am my father are one. You are joint heir with Christ, uh, to all that heavenly, to all the heavenly riches. Then you would not have to suffer the experiences through which you now follow Naomi. Naomi having left her divine state of spiritual consciousness in which is her eternal substance. And that was in Bethlehem, according to biblical, according to the scripture, and gone down into materiality, Moab now loses all her earthly possessions. Husbands, sons lands, we lose earthly possessions. Hmm. She has left. However, one spiritual idea, and that’s Ruth. And with this one light within her consciousness, one light within her consciousness, Naomi returns to her original home. She returns home to spiritual consciousness. She returns home. She returns home. And security. Ruth, the spiritual light shines in all individual consciousness to show us and lead us to home. Heaven or harmony. This light appears now as Ruth again as Moses leads leading the Hebrews to the promised land.

And again, as Christ revealing, Jesus, revealing through Jesus the kingdom of God within you, within you, within you, within you lifting you from sin to soul. What was just said brings us to the title, the realness of our creation. The realness of our creations, the authentic authenticity of our creations, the genuineness of them. And, and, and what is our responsibility is manifestations of God. And how is that accomplished? And how is God given the glory as we accomplish it? If you think about it, after we move through some of these things, you’ll get a glimpse of your power, <laugh>.

There’s only one place, one source, one glimpse, one way. But, but we’ll get a glimpse of it, we’ll be reminded of it for then. God said, according to Genesis 1 26, let us make man in our image after our likeness. Let them have dominion. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air and over the cattle and over the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. And what is this dominion? What is this dominion that sounds like some type of power that we might have. Wester says that it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s supreme, it’s sovereignty, it’s authority. Charles Fillmore says, as a perfect child of God, man is born to complete dominion over all creation. Hmm. But what is dominion? Fillmore defines it like this. In revealing word dominion is an inner consciousness obtained only through mind discipline.

This supreme authority comes. Listen as man realizes his oneness with the father, oneness with the father. Reverend Darrell last week told us the realization of oneness is mystical consciousness. Hmm. If I have dominion, I am recognizing my oneness with the father. Because without that, I don’t have dominion. And that dominion that I was given, oh, oh yeah, it’s bringing me back to recognize oneness with the Father. Now, sometimes I, I may get off track, which is what Chapter seven in awakening mystical consciousness is about goldsmiths concepts or is that’s the name of the chapter concepts or is isness is godness God is concepts come and go. I may think that you’re beautiful one day, but the next day I may think, Hmm, <laugh>, I may think you’re really, really nice one day. And the next day I may say, mm, concepts or is that’s what goldsmith used to help us try to understand this awakening of mis mystical consciousness.

This this making us the whole book. And I want you to read it. Cause I know it may be a little difficult to read because in chapter seven, Goldsmith kind of knocks down all my new thought theories. Goldsmith says, so what you can think, whatever you wanna think, you can even believe it if you want to. But unless you have tied yourself back to and understood your oneness, and let the spirituality give you whatever you think you have, it is without power. It is without power. We have an intellect, we have an ego. We have five senses. We are brilliant. We have degrees we’ve taught, we’ve thought, we’ve taught, and yet it’s all without power. Unless I’ve come back to oneness, unless I’m working from if, unless I’ve allowed the spirit to impart. What Goldsmith teaches us is that you got to get into the silence. You gotta get into the silence. You gotta crawl in there. You gotta, I don’t know how you gonna get in there, but you gotta get there because in the silence is the only way you are going to have the impartation that you need to do what? Create real stuff.

Let me get that back to what I wrote. I’ve got some things written down here. I’ve said none of them. I’m gonna get back to here. Okay? So yeah, the power of dominion was given to us in Genesis. And, um, we are called to remove ourselves from even the conventional new thought thinking. That’s what Goldsmith really, he pushes us. He really pushes us. And, and he wants to help us move into what he is defined as the fourth dimension. And the fourth dimension is Christ’s consciousness. And Christ’s consciousness means that I am working in one, in tandem. I am working with only the understanding of God. I am working, I’m gonna say it again with the understanding of God. And yet later on, I’m gonna tell you, you can’t even define God. We don’t even know what it means. Goldsmith claims in, in his pamphlet, the fourth dimension of life.

There’s a spirit in you. There’s a divine spark, which we call the Christ, which lifts you into the fourth dimension of life into a state of consciousness, which you do not live by personal efforts, personal will or wisdom, or even personal health in which you find yourself empowered from within. You’re empowered from within, from the kingdom of your own being in that space, which we, we, we so often just forget, oh, it’s Christmas time. All the lights and the red coloring and everything are almost like those little trinkets that take us away from the truth. In that space. God as the only power, God as the foundation, God, as the only presence, God is the only reality of any of our manifestations. All else is simply a concept. And, and go, Smith writes, and there’s no real power in concepts. There’s no real power in concepts. Only thing that is real is that which is lasting. And so if it’s not lasting you, you can enjoy it. But don’t mislabel it as powerful. Don’t mislabel it as harming. You don’t even mislabel it as making you happy.

This is goldsmith you all. It wasn’t me. It was goldsmith. Okay? He says, he gives us an example. He says a person, he describes it. This person in his healing work, okay? He says, a person comes to him. He doesn’t know the person, he does not know the dis disease. And he’s telling us, as you look in the mirror, <laugh>, you don’t know the person and you don’t know the dise. He says, he has only a concept of them. No real power in the concept. The power is within the person. The power is within you. The power is God for there is none other. What is he saying? When you want to say you have some type of dise, look through that and get back to the oneness with God so that you can drop it. Oh, don’t, well, I’m, I’m jumping ahead because he says, don’t call it bad. Don’t, don’t, don’t label it anything. Just look through to your truth. Look through to what you really are. You are not skin and bones. You have skin and bones. You are not skin and bones. Further explaining power goldsmith refers to John 1911, Jesus speaking to Pilate. Thou could have no power at all against me, except it were given the above from above. But looking at the facts as the read reading said earlier, Pilate was the governor.

Pilate was endowed with complete authority by Caesar. He was judged and jury, that was the appearance. How often have you read that statement and said, what was Jesus talking about? How often have you looked at some dis-ease or some fact, or some situation of lack and labeled it powerful over you, Goldsmith said. Mm-hmm. It’s, it is just an appearance. It’s just an appearance for, he says Jesus held that pil had no power except what came from the Father. That’s what Jesus understood. Jesus in his oneness with his Father, I and the Father are one. I don’t care what your title is, where you’re sitting, all power goldsmith continues to remind us, is in God and comes from the God within. And the moment, the second we begin to perceive that truth, we begin to withdraw our power from concepts of forms, concepts of people, concepts of conditions.

Well, I gotta tell you, I’ve been working with this with the political si side of life. I mean, I’ve been working real tough with it. And it works because it gets me back to my peace. It gets me back to the truth. It gets me back to the power called God. And let God tell me how to think, how to do what to do, how to, how to make whatever happen and call. It’s called joy in my life. Okay? And it’s done consciously. He says, the moment we withdraw our power from concepts stop. You know, one of the real things that really is ist irritant to me, there I go judging, right? But is when people refer to cancer as the big C I wanna say, what are you doing that for? Why, why are you naming it like that? Why are you giving that concept that much power? He says, withdraw the power from concepts of conditions.

And it’s interesting, I’ve been working a lot with getting a revenue stream for those, our homeless neighbors. I’ve been doing that and I’ve had to do it under the guise of goldsmith. Okay? You, you figure that one out. It, it, it, it makes it me understand there’s still only one power. And that one power is where I need to go to get any kind of understanding, any kind of, uh, of clarification. Do not use your five senses and your brilliance, Jacqueline, to name anything, go to God. It has to be done consciously. We must learn to look at the person as Jesus looked at pil, recognizing a concept and image and effect, but recognizing that the power is in God. We must learn to do the same thing with dise. We must learn to do it with dise or with an appearance of lack, with any condition.

Not, not just saying, now, this is where, you know, new thoughtful good is saying, um, this is no such thing. Uh, it is not reality. We’ll be looking at the disease, we’ll be looking at the, the doctor’s diagnosis. It, it’s not real. Goldsmith says mm-hmm. <affirmative>, no matter, no matter your experience, no matter what it appears like, no matter whether it’s very beautiful or not, look at the situation, look at the form, look at the concept that you’ve given power to look at it with conviction and state. You have no power. You have no power. The power is in God. You are in effect. You’re a concept.

So the question might be, how can there be an infinite God and dise? Hmm. Goldsmith breaks it down in this way. Hmm. Even when we are, are, are, are looking at what the world caused this disease. We are not looking at this ease anymore than we’re looking at water on a desert. Hmm. We’re looking at a mirage. I I think Michael Beck Hook does a lot with that mirage. We’re looking at an illusion, an appearance that has no power. That that’s it. If I can hold on to that fourth dimension, understanding, if I can walk with myself and, and recognize I’m the father of one and the Christ consciousness, I can look at the appearance and know that it toes no power. <laugh>.

And I’ve been looking at an empty kitchen walls all week knowing no power, no power. It is in the realization, it is in the realization that healing takes place. It is in that realization that as I look at something and know that it has no power, that healing takes place. That the condition changes, that I’m able to move beyond and get to that fourth dimension. I, in the five hour one. And in that position reflect perfection, reflect joy at that spiritual angle. And, and, and Goldsmiths provides this affirmation as you look at the dise image. He, he, he says this, God made all that was made. God made. All that was made as you’re looking at this disease image and all that God made is good. Anything God did not make was not made. So whatever you are, you have no power.

That is really hard sometimes for our human intellect to wrap around. Our ego is jumping up and down now and saying, oh, you just crazy. You’re lying, y’all. But recognize, get to that place. Get to that place. Get to the fourth dimension. Get into the silence. For us to understand Goldsmith emphasized that Jesus taught us to turn away from judgment, judging anything or anyone, good or bad, get away from it. And, and, and turning away from judgment really does take us further along the path to the fourth dimension. Goldsmith teaches us the moment that we take, we, we take good power or bad power out of an effect. We have obeyed Jesus in two ways. We are not calling a person good. We’re calling God good. And we’re not fearing the evil of pil.

It’s interesting, as I read, he says, we don’t even know what lies behind appearances. We are to train ourselves to look at all human appearances and say, neither do I judge you. Neither do I declare you to be good or evil. I will say you must be spiritual because God created all that is. And God is spirit. Hmm. He used that as a basis for his healing. He says, A doctor does not know what’s in a person’s consciousness. And the truth is the only truth, and I want you to repeat this truth after me. God is life. Life is eternal. Life is eternal. I am eternal. I, mm. He says the doctor doesn’t know anything about the person except that, that truth. And as we look at folks, as we look at ourselves, we should know one thing that we are God appearing as individual being.

We are God appearing as individual being. Hmm. This is what we must stand on. This is what we must live with for each person. All that God is you are all that God has, has you have. He writes, it is not possible to make a correct judgment by looking at appearances because you are what you are. And what you are is God manifest. You are spirit. He says, but I do not know what spirit is He’s telling us. We don’t know what spirit is. We really don’t. So because of that, I’m not engaging in any judgment. I’m just making the de declaration of isness. God is, I don’t know what God is. I’m just the isness, the reality really holding on to the truth. I am that isness a one. Only when we can go into the silent place at the center of our being, God will reveal itself. It it won’t happen in our intellect. It will, it will even. And, and he and Goldsmith says, even after you have the experience of it, this is the hard part. And, and, and you’re sitting here wondering, why is this supposed to be the truth? Because if you live it, even just for a half a day, you’ll start saying, wow, there is some truth here for Goldsmith says, even as you go into the silence and experience God <laugh>, you really won’t be able to tell anybody about it. <laugh>, you really won’t be able to share.

Hmm. Understanding dominion. That’s where I started understanding dominion. Goldsmith reminds us that a human being, skin and bones was never given dominion, but to the man made in God’s image and likeness to the man made in God’s image and likeness. As you look in the mirror, I can tell you, if you just look at the skin and bones, you’re not looking at made in the image and likeness and the man made in God’s image and likeness is the man you are when you stop accepting appearances, you are the image and likeness of God. When you stop creating concepts that are opinions or beliefs about this universe in which you give power and you are made in the image and likeness of God as you listen for spiritual impartation, Hmm. You listen for spiritual impartation, that means you move into the silence. You walk in the fourth dimension and you hear God, then your mind is free of any opinion or judgment.

You are the child of God. All that the father has is pouring through itself, through you. Healing is all based or not judging by appearances, not putting value in concepts. But in every case, in every case, whatever the situation, realizing God is and has all the power, what we must do is to realize that we are not separate and apart from God. That’s simple. That’s all we have to do. But how often we do not do it, we do not do it. If I’m hitting our toe on the bedside to getting a bill in the mail to having my baby’s sister leave the earth, how often do I do not realize I am not separate and apart from God?

And that is, as I, I realize that awakening mystical consciousness, we practice in the silence to get back to that realization. Through releasing concepts and practicing the presence, we awaken out of the dream. We awaken out of the dream that there can be separation. And in closing, I wanna give you 1, 1, 1 more goldsmith example. Before, before I close with, with a quiet poem, Goldsmith gives us a example. And I think it’s so perfect. He says, if you have been dreaming, you are drowning in the ocean. Awakening does not take the water away from you and it does not take you out of the ocean. It simply reveals to you that you are in your bed. So this work that he’s calling for us to do, this work that he’s calling for us to do, so that we can awaken our mystical consciousness, that we can be in the forced dimension. This work never takes you out of sin. He writes, it never takes you out of disease or lack. It wakes you up, you awaken your mystical consciousness, and then you look around and realize you are in heaven. And you’ve been there all the time dreaming you were in hell. And so it is.

This is, um, closing prayer poem by Christine Black Cummings, who’s a member of a church out in California, whose church name I can’t remember. She has a wonderful book called The Gift of Who I Am. And the poem is called The Promise. So I told you I was gonna tell you, then I told you, I told you. Now I’m telling you what I told you. Okay. If you will, you might wanna just close your eyes and listen. But it’s called the Promise. I live in all my children awaiting to reveal the greatest of all mysteries. The innate power to heal. I keep my rainbow promise to always be your friend, your confidant, companion. A love that never ends in waters, calm and choppy in turbulence and swells. I am the anchor always the truth that all is well except me. Except from me. The bounty. See, fool the cup of life. Savor every blessing. No need to live in strife. Delight in what confounds you. Elusive though it be. I promise all the answers when you rely on me. Store me in your heartbeat to quicken every step. Allow my hand to guide you and help you stand rep. So listen closely, always, and patiently await your resurrected greatness ready to partake. Amen And amen.
