We close September the way every affirmative prayer closes: in thanksgiving for what has already been realized, and in release — trusting the Law to receive our word and act on it. This week, we bring the month’s whole practice full circle.
REALIZATION: I AFFIRM THIS TO BE SO
Having recognized the One Presence and remembered our unity with it, prayer now asks something bold of us: to speak, in the present tense, the very quality we are calling forth — not as a wish for tomorrow, but as a truth for today. This week, we practice the art of affirmative, declarative language.
UNIFICATION: I AM ONE WITH GOD
Recognition tells us God is all there is. Unification takes the next, more personal step: knowing we are not outside that Presence, but living expressions of it. This week, we move from believing in a distant God to living from a felt oneness.
