Our emotions, while not mechanically created by our beliefs, strongly influence our perceptions, interpretations, and reactions to the world around us. When these strong emotions come up, we can feel like we no longer are in control of our minds and we may find it hard to stop thinking the thoughts that go with them. What if you could begin to liberate your mind?
WHO ARE YOU, REALLY?
Sometimes life requires us to re-learn ourselves or make ourselves aware again of who we really are. How we have defined ourselves or how others have defined us, might not be the spiritual truth about ourselves.
FROM CODEPENDENCE TO INTERDEPENDENCE
As we explore our shadows for personal growth we cultivate more fulfilling relationships grounded in trust, respect, and mutual support. Unraveling the complexities of codependence supports us to come together in interdependence – transforming conflicts within ourselves, our personal relationships, and the world around us.
FREEING JOY IN RELATIONSHIPS
The imprints of the past influences all the relationships in our lives. As we consciously examine and release these imprints, we free our energy to cultivate joy in our relationships.
KNOW THYSELF
Who thought that mean thought about you that was floating around in your mind? Why did the words you heard make you so very sad? And does anything cause you to be joy-filled? Do you know who is controlling you? In other words, what don’t you know about you?
COMMITMENT & FREEDOM, CAN YOU HAVE BOTH?
In the context of any relationship, you can’t have freedom without commitment. However, oftentimes what we are committed to, whether that is social norms, family patterns or other ideas, aren’t great commitments for freedom. They are often commitments of manipulation, inauthentic behavior and control that only lock us into a way of relating that doesn’t feel good and allow growth.
THE POWER OF SURRENDER
As we move from unhealthy ego to healthier ego, we move from “life happens to me” to “I make it happen.” As we deepen spiritually, we “open to receive” and surrender to “know it is already done.”
THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF CONSCIOUSNESS
We are on the move, growing and changing to express our authentic selves more fully. Love is our true nature, and our “job” is to express it abundantly. Our teaching guides us on how to do this and remedy thoughts and beliefs interfering with the clear, bountiful demonstration of this love in us and all around us.
