Many spiritual traditions celebrate the coming of the light during the holiday season. Swami Muktananda teaches that by whatever name we call God/Spirit it is the same on all paths and the divine light lives in each person. Join us this Sunday as we explore this light within and share in a solstice ritual of light. Each of us has something seeking to express through us. You sense what this is in your quiet moments – through the silent whispers of your Spirit when you turn within. As you connect more deeply with your inner calling and trust the flow which is happening in your life, you are able to express your essential nature and offer it to the flow of Spirit. What is calling to you? How can you listen to what is flowing in your life to bring forth that which is essential?

To receive the abundance of the universe we must practice radical acceptance. Accept and embrace all the parts of you. Accept and surrender to life as it is. Accept and receive Divine abundance expressing as you and through you. Join me this Sunday as we explore radical acceptance of the Divine.

This Sunday we’ll explore offering any and all things to God, Spirit, Light, the Universe. You aren’t alone.

The journey to awakening is a journey of falling in love with our spirit – our true Self. Yet, like potholes in the road, those parts of ourselves we hold outside of love can snag at us, holding us back. They weigh us down and hinder our acceleration to our joy. We call these parts of ourselves our shadow side. The Cityside Practitioners have created a Sunday experience that brings clarity to this and maps a way to more fully integrate our shadow and awaken to the love of our whole self.

A mountain top is often the metaphor used for enlightenment. It could just as easily be seen as a deep descent into the core of the earth. When it comes to awareness, directionality doesn’t really matter. Whether we ascend or descend or go sideways even, if we are intentional about awakening, any path will take us there if we prepare our hearts and minds and bodies for the journey. If we can surround the events of our lives with spacious awareness, as Ram Dass says, then we can begin the lifelong journey of awareness. Sunday we looked at the importance of knowing and honoring our own paths and the spiritual practices that support us on the way.
