An Evening with The Drepung Gomang Tibetan Monks: Making the World a Better Place One Practice at a Time.

Join Cityside as it hosts the current tour of monks from Drepung Gomang Monastery in India. Due to religious persecution the monastery moved to South India in 1969 from Tibet. This lineage of monks is the same as the Dalai Lama and daily they chant, create sacred art and offer puja’s (ceremonies) to bless the world.  Meet the monks, receive the power of their chants, engage them in a Q&A and support the life of their monastery with a love offering and purchasing mala beads and other wares.
